The arena was sold out and the crowd was hungry!

Half the team was in the concession stand and half the team was around the auction.

Lonni is a maniac on register 1. 

Maria has probably just dropped a hotdog on the floor and is putting it back to sell, don't worry weary readers, we wrap them well!

Kelsey and Kylie have alternative career paths in popcorn making if they need it (I will make sure that doesn't happen!)

The auction was a great success. Thank you to our parents who came in to help too!

Maria escaped from me in the concession stand and found the Chick-fil-a cow. I hope she eats more chicken after that encounter.

The 2011 season kicked off with our annual cleaning days. The team worked together to reclaim the cage from mice who had left many unpleasant rice beads behind and dust off the gear that sat in the cold of December.

The sweepers are deciding what angle to sweep next.

  

Court is making sure each ball is worthy of the mighty Cougar bats.

  

The sweepers are attacking a mud spot that erupted on Christmas day. The cloud of dust was remarkable. But not to worry, Lonni was close by with her shop-vac to eradicate the dust.

Hillary, KP and KDub look simply lost at the amount of mice beads that were in the gray cabinet.

Courtney got help in the end from Alexa to decide which balls were hitting balls and which the princess pitchers were going to steal back.

All in all the cage looks fantastic now! We are ready to make a mess of it for the 2011 season!
